Horses - Healing - Hope
Eagle's Wings Ranch exists to help children and families learn about the saving grace of Jesus Christ through the sharing of
God's creation: the horse.
Our mission is to mentor kids and provide hope for families by working with horses to teach responsibility, respect, and compassion, and to create challenge, achievement, and confidence through relating the experience of God's awesome presence in our lives.
Children will work with a mentor in a 90 minute session each week for four weeks. They will learn about horse behavior, grooming, safely managing their horse through ground play, and they will develop riding skills with games on horseback.
Meet the Horses
Born in 1992, Chewy is an Arabian and has been trained in the Parelli Natural Horsemanship program, travelled in the Black Hills several times, excelled in endurance competition, and is a kind, wonderful kids’ horse!
Cisero was born in 2001, an Arabian/Lipizzan. He has travelled out west and is physically talented, shines in endurance riding as well as dressage ability. He is a fun horse to ride!
Vinny is a Friesian, born in 2004. He can pull a cart and go on trail rides, but his favorite is showing off by demonstrating all kinds of moves and tricks!
Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
"But they who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
